Pig Pickin' Fundraiser

The tradition continues!  The men at Duck United Methodist Church will be hosting their annual BBQ Fundraiser on the grounds of the church right in the heart of downtown Duck on Friday, June 16th from 12 noon to 7 pm.

Some of the best old fashion Eastern North Carolina pork BBQ & chicken will be cooked on site starting in the wee hours of the morning and slow cooked over hot coals all day by "seasoned" (get it?) barbequers. (Mmmm…I can smell it already!).  Lunch plates, including a pulled pork sandwich or hot dog, chips and a drink will be served for $5.  Adult dinner plates will be served with all your favorite fixins and sides for $15, kids 12 and under for $6. Come out and support the church's most vital natural resource and the future leaders of our congregations, our communities and our nation as the proceeds will help grow the youth scholarship fund.
