Dare Challenge helps addicts take that first step into a life free of the control of drugs and alcohol and into the abundant life they were created for.

Dare Challenge is based upon the fact that person’s basic need is a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. People use drugs and alcohol in an attempt to fill the void in their lives that only Jesus can fill. When Jesus is genuinely received as Lord and Savior of a person’s life, a total transformation will follow. 

The mission at Outer Banks Dare Challenge is to help people who have life-controlling problems and initiate the discipleship process to the point where the student can function as a Christian in society, applying spiritually motivated Biblical principle to relationships in the family, local church, chosen vocation and the community. Dare Challenge endeavors to help people become mentally sound, emotionally balanced, socially adjusted, physically well and spiritually alive.
