Beach Food Pantry

The Beach Food Pantry provides emergency food services to residents of Dare County.  Seasonal employment leaves many on the Outer Banks without jobs in the winter, and many families struggle to make ends meet.  The Beach Food Pantry allows residents to receive two weeks worth of food items up to 4 times per year.

Every Communion Sunday, members and visitors of Duck Church bring in non-perishable food items to benefit the Beach Food Pantry.  Others provide monetary support for the Food Pantry.  Also, six times a year, Duck Church volunteers serve for a week at a time at the distribution center in Kitty Hawk.  About 30 church members help with this ministry.  If you would like to help make a donation or serve at the Beach Food Pantry through Duck Church, contact the church office.
